In this section of BioDat you can browse the lists of plants and animals species compiled by our colleagues for specific spots or areas as well as summary lists of potential flora and fauna for the federal entities. If you possess updated or domain-specific knowledge about the composition of flora and fauna in some region or natural area, which was surveyed by you in the course of the field season, business trip or vacation, then here you can compile your own list of species. The work on the list formation can be carried out without being connected to the Internet, for that purpose you can use special small programs allowing you to work with the 'blank' list of the group or to use 'Help' file containing the list of possible flora and fauna that can be found in this federal entity according to the group selected.

Compiling your own author's listing of species for specific point or natural area will enable you:
* To insert your list without any assistance to the database via Internet
OR
* To send your list to the BioDat administrator by e-mail, and he will enter it to the database.

Your author's listing will become immediately available to the colleagues, who, in case of necessity, may contact you as an author by e-mail. BioDat administrator will delete without any notice only those entries that have no relation to the declared subject matter. Good Luck!
